| About the Staff at Camp Monroe |

Camp Monroe prides itself on the staff we employ.
We go out of our way to make sure that we hire mature, capable, warm, fun loving, young adults. Some have grown up at our camp, some have heard of our camp from friends and relatives, and some come to us through our extensive recruitment search.
From year to year we retain almost all of our wonderful adult staff consisting of over 40 teachers, parents, and educational professionals. They provide a comfort and security that pervades Camp Monroe and they are the backbone of our camp.
Our staff comes from the US and from countries around the world. All of our staff are treated with respect and love for they are an integral part of the Camp Monroe family.
We are always looking for talented caring individuals to be bunk counselors or instructors. Working at camp can be described as the "toughest job you will ever love" -it is exciting, rewarding, tiring, and lots of fun. You can have an immeasurable positive influence on the lives of children and develop great, lifetime friendships with other staff from around the corner and around the world.
