Hi Stanley! I know it has been a while since I have attended camp, but I just wanted to let you know that as I get older and experience more, I now realize how truley important camp has been in my life. It has played a key role in my realization of how essential my religion and spirituality is. Camp has helped me to mature and act as a strong, independant person. My most fond memories have taken place over the ten years that I attended camp and I have learned more than I can express. I just wanted to let you know how much camp has meant to me and say hi since it has been a while! I hope all is well with you and your family!

"We want to thank you and your staff members at Camp Monroe for giving our son, Eyal such a wonderful first experience at sleep away camp. The letters he wrote us throughout the summer conveyed enthusiasm for the different programs offered, and a tone of happiness. Visiting day at Camp Monroe was the highlight of our summer. Your staff members were helpful, courteous, and patient. My husband and son went on the horse trails and had a great time."

"Words cannot tell you how much we appreciate what you have done for Randy. She is a different child after her very successful experience this summer. You have truly changed a child's life. "

"I am writing this letter to tell you how much I love camp. I go to a school with very few students in my grade. I don’t always get along with them. But, after the school year, I know I can’t wait for camp to start. There are no words to describe how much me and all of the other campers love Monroe. It is definitely my home away from home, and I couldn’t dream of not coming back. All of my best friends are there, and when I’m in camp its like my own little world, away from home, away from parents, away from school, just in that special world with all my best friends/family. I just want to tell you how much I love Camp Monroe and that I thank my parents, everyday, for sending me."

"I can hardly believe it but I am now a senior in high school and working on my college applications. As I was completing my essay, which happens to be about my beloved Camp Monroe, it occurred to me that I ought to ask you for a recommendation…."
"I want to thank you again for your bigheartedness and making me feel a part of the camp family. I hope you and your family are able to touch thousands of other souls in the years to come and give them the same experience that I was so lucky to have. "

"Camp has been a constant in my life over the years. Through two moves, four knee surgeries, and the other normal growing pains one experiences, camp has always been there for me at the end of the day and has taught me a lot about life. "

"We would like to thank you for all that you and camp have done for us and Mandy. Camp gave her an environment where she could be herself and never did she feel there was a task she could not accomplish. She came home confident, settled and excited about herself. We are proud of everything Mandy did at camp. We talk about Midos almost daily. You should know she even talked about Midos in her first day of school essay."
"Camp Monroe is a magical place and I hope to see you again next summer. It was very thoughtful of you to remember my request. We can't wait to see everyone on Visiting Day."
"I want to tell you what a positive experience my son had in camp. He goes to Hebrew Day School and enjoyed Shabbos at camp far more than the academic setting at school. Thank you for raising his Jewish spirit."
"I miss camp. Guess what! My brother decided to come to camp next summer when I told him I loved camp."
"All the love, thanks and kindest regards we could possibly express. I'm writing this with tears in my eyes, but strength in my heart, knowing that the love and lessons we've taken from camp will be with us forever."
"Thank you for the wonderful second month my children spent at Monroe. They had a fantastic time and came away with new friends, new experiences and more inner strength. And yes, they now speak English and can actually have a proper conversation with their grandmother in Australia! The love, dedication and organization that you put into running the camp is exemplary… and it is evident in seeing the smiling faces and ruach of the kids and staff."
"It is with affection and appreciation that we write this note of thanks. Daniel's "Camp Monroe" Bar Mitzvah was special, spiritual and the way it was meant to be! You spoke from the heart beautifully and your words showed how well you know Daniel and our family."
"Thank you so much for helping my children to have a wonderful first experience at sleep away camp. I guess it could have happened "Only at Camp Monroe". You're the best."
"Being at Camp Monroe has provided me with some of the best experiences of my life. The relationships are unlike any other. The fraternity among bunkmates is something I never could have imagined. Camp provided me with an opportunity to showcase my talents, open up with and befriend new people, interact with knowledgeable adults, hone my people skills, and to experience Judaism from a different standpoint."
"The summers go so quickly which makes us live the two months we have at camp to the fullest. I've met friends that I can now consider my family. You gave that to me and I can't thank you enough. Like never before in my life, I felt spiritually connected this summer. Every Friday evening, your light-hearted singing and enthusiastic storytelling opened me to an alternate side of life that helped me to feel proud of my Jewish heritage."
"Receiving the forms for next year's enrollment completely made my day, probably even my week! Camp means so much to me and it has become part of my life. I can't even imagine what life would be like had Camp Monroe not existed and brought me and my closest friends together."
"One of the things that made this the perfect summer was our counselor. He was the best counselor that we ever had. He made our summer better than any other counselor. We hope he can again be our counselor next summer."
"After spending almost a decade of my life in Camp Monroe, I finally became a counselor. This summer was my turn to finally pass on to other campers what had been given to me. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be part of this cycle."
"Thanks for the summer. I liked leagues and tournaments. Please send me my laundry bag."

"You run a first rate camp and I know personally how much time and effort you and your partners put in. It hasn’t gone unnoticed. We can’t thank you enough for all you and your camp have done for our children."
“I just want to compliment you and thank you, the entire staff and especially my son's counselor, for providing another "Only At Camp Monroe" summer for our son... the only reason I can bear to part with him for eight weeks is because I know how much he loves being at Camp Monroe and how he truly thrives in the environment that you provide"
