Horseback Riding is part of the regular scheduled program at Camp Monroe and takes place on our premises and at no extra charge. We have stables, riding rinks, beautiful trails and twelve of our own horses. Helen Stambaugh, our riding director for over twenty five years, teaches basic riding and also runs a more advanced horsemanship program. Horse Shows, with official judges, are offered for those campers with a special interest in riding.
